Having children from a previous relationship, I felt that I had experienced childbirth. I honestly didn’t think there was anything else that I could learn. Kelly opened my eyes; this class became more about being a good partner for my wife. Looking back, I don’t know if I could have been as present as I was for our 24 hour labor, without Kelly’s guidance. It was not an easy labor, one that could have easily ended as a cesarean, but we made it to the end with the natural birth that we hoped for because Kelly informed us so well of our options. Kelly’s guidance not only empowered us as a family, but ultimately strengthened the bond between me and my wife.
